Things To Do

At Mt. Angel Orchard House, there’s always something meaningful to enjoy—whether you’re looking to stay active, connect with others, or simply relax. We believe in nurturing the body, mind, and spirit through a variety of engaging activities that reflect our residents’ interests and preferences. After a fulfilling day, residents gather for a comforting, home-style meal—served with care and choice.

Activities for Every Interest

Whether you want to simplify your life or need assistance with daily tasks, Mt. Angel Orchard House offers a wide variety of activities for every individual. We create monthly activity calendars that are packed from morning to night with activity options. Join us for social events like birthday celebrations, themed parties, and holiday gatherings. We also offer creative outlets such as crafts, and storytelling. For wellness activities, we frequently host activities like gentle exercise groups and movement classes. Sometimes it’s nice to just kick back and relax, which is why we also host ‘Pampering Days‘ that include nail care and spa-style relaxation.

Our landscaped courtyard and garden offer peaceful spaces for light outdoor activities like gardening, corn hole, chalk art, as well as seasonal events and small group gatherings.

Spiritual Life

Faith and reflection are important aspects of life at Mt. Angel Orchard House for those who choose to participate. We host Catholic Mass three times a week with a weekly communion visit accompanied by Bible study twice a week. Additionally there are non-denominational services available. All of our residents, regardless of religious background are welcome to participate.

If you want to learn something new, we’re happy to teach you, and chances are, we’ll learn something from you, too. So if you have any special skills you’d like to share with us, we would love to incorporate them into our schedule – just let us know.
